Measurements refer to body size, not garment size. Garments allow 1–3 cm ease depending on silhouette.
Quick size recommendation
How we calculate
For mermaid/fitted styles we weight Bust 45%, Waist 25%, Hips 30%. For A‑line we weight Bust 45%, Waist 40%, Hips 15%. For ball gown we weight Bust 55%, Waist 35%, Hips 10%. We suggest the closest size by minimizing total deviation. If measurements are between sizes, we recommend the larger size for comfort and alterations.
Made‑to‑measure order form
Provide the following measurements in cm using a soft tape. Wear the bra and shapewear you plan to use on the day. Ask someone to help for accuracy.
Measurement map
- Measure snug but not tight; keep tape level and parallel to floor.
- Use the undergarments you plan to wear on the day.
- Take measurements twice; use the average.
How to measure — step by step
- Bust: Around the fullest part of the chest. Arms relaxed. Do not pull the tape too tight.
- Underbust: Directly under the bust. Keep the tape horizontal.
- Waist: Natural waist (the narrowest point). Bend to one side to find it.
- High hips: 8–10 cm below waist. Useful for fitted styles.
- Hips: Around the fullest point of the seat (usually 20–23 cm below waist).
- Hollow to floor: From the hollow at the base of the neck straight to floor, barefoot.
- Height and heels: Provide barefoot height and heel height you will wear.
- Shoulder to shoulder: Back width, bone to bone.
- Arm & sleeve: Around bicep; sleeve from top of shoulder to wrist, arm relaxed.
For mermaid / fitted styles
Prioritize bust and hips. If between sizes at waist, choose the larger and tailor in.
For A‑line
Prioritize bust and waist. Skirt is forgiving at hips.
For ball gowns
Focus on bust and waist. Choose comfort at the ribcage for easy breathing.
Pregnancy planning
For a due date or bump growth, opt for A‑line or empire waist; schedule final hem 2–4 weeks before wedding.
FAQ & fit policies
What if I’m between sizes?
Choose the larger size and tailor down. Bridal garments are designed with seam allowance; letting out is limited. Mermaid styles require enough ease to sit and breathe comfortably.
Ease & tolerances
Standard ease is 1–3 cm depending on silhouette; production tolerance ±1–2 cm is normal. Custom orders may include a final fine‑tune at hem and straps after first try‑on.
Hem length
Provide barefoot height and heel height. We cut hem to grazing the floor in your heels for aisle length; alterations may still adjust for venue surface.
Undergarments & shapewear
Measure while wearing your planned bra and shapewear. Changing undergarments may change measurements by 1–2 cm.
Plus and petite
Our chart covers 0–26W. For petite (height ≤160 cm) or plus (20–26W), we advise custom hem and strap adjustments for balanced proportions.
