How to Measure (Step-by-Step)
Use a soft measuring tape. Wear thin undergarments similar to your wedding day. Stand straight, breathe normally, and ask someone to assist for best accuracy.
- Bust — around the fullest part of your bust, tape level to the floor.
- Waist — at your natural waist (the narrowest point above your belly button).
- Hips — around the fullest part of your hips and seat, feet together.
- Hollow-to-Floor — from the hollow at the base of your neck straight down to the floor, standing tall.
- Shoulder-to-Floor (with shoes) — from the top of the shoulder, over the bust, to the floor while wearing your wedding shoes.
- Shoulder Width — tip of shoulder to tip of shoulder across the back.
- Armhole / Upper Arm (if sleeves) — comfortably around the fullest part of your upper arm.
- Sleeve Length (if sleeves) — from shoulder tip to wrist bone, elbow slightly bent.
- Waist-to-Floor — from natural waist straight to floor (with shoes if needed).
- Heel Height — exact heel height of the shoes you plan to wear.
Tip: Take each measurement twice and use the average. If in doubt, choose the larger number for comfort and room for local alterations.
- Keep the tape snug but not tight — you should be able to slide a finger under it.
- Always measure parallel to the floor; do not angle the tape.
- Look straight ahead, relax shoulders; do not suck in your stomach.
- Measure with the exact heel height intended for the wedding day.
- Curvy, petite, or tall? Consider Custom Size for the cleanest fit.

Care & Preservation (Before & After Your Wedding)
- Steaming — Use a garment steamer on low heat from the inside; avoid touching lace directly.
- Storage — Hang in a breathable fabric garment bag. Avoid plastic. Keep away from sunlight and humidity.
- No machine wash — Never wash in a washing machine or use harsh detergents/bleach.
- Spot care — For minor marks, dab gently with a clean, damp cloth. Test a hidden area first.
- Try-on plan — Try the dress on with your exact bra/undergarments and shoes; schedule local alterations 4–6 weeks before the date.
- Professional cleaning — Use a specialist bridal cleaner within 1–2 weeks for best results.
- Preservation — Store flat in acid-free tissue and a preservation box, or hang in a breathable bag with muslin padding.
- Environment — Cool, dry, dark place; avoid attics/basements. Do not vacuum-seal delicate fabrics.
- Accessories — Clean veils/jewelry separately in appropriate solutions to avoid fabric staining.
Each fabric behaves differently (silk satin, chiffon, soft tulle, delicate lace). When unsure, consult a bridal specialist.
